On Yonder: badlands

What is it?

It is a bike ride across the country to see sites and meet people, maybe talk a little religion, and to visit folks; to understand hospitality a lot better; to learn a lot more about the rest of our country. One of us is a recent seminary grad who's working slowly on ordination in the United Methodist Church, about to begin serving a small Connecticut church as its pastor. The other is an undergraduate who wanted to spend his summer somewhere other than an office and see his country.
